Tasty Eggs

"I just had to photograph our beautiful eggs this morning before cooking breakfast. We were given all sorts of lovely chicks this summer by a true poultry man. So now we have Maran, Araucana and Black Coppa eggs.

These beautiful eggs are among the fresh and local produce we serve at breakfast which helped us to win the Sawdays ‘most praised breakfast’ award along with two other B and Bs.


Alastair Sawday, Founder of Sawday’s Special Places to Stay, said about Hay Barton that : "The winners of the Most Praised Breakfast Award have time and again received wonderful comments from guests about the delicious home-cooked and homemade breakfasts they serve. Guests just love Hay Barton"

A guest wrote "and the breakfasts, well, they are simply the best, with homemade yoghurt and granola and the best fresh fruit, not to mention the yellowest scrambled eggs we’ve ever seen."
