Jill and Blair Jobson welcome you to Hay Barton

michelin-guideHay Barton is situated on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula in Cornwall. Surrounded by its own land, the farmhouse is quiet and tranquil and the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Bedrooms are fresh and pretty with garden flowers and soft white linen on big beds. Giant windows overlook many acres of farmland and the gloriously panelled en-suite bathrooms have large roll top baths.

We can be found in The Michelin and Goldeneye Guides.

Breakfasts are truly award winning with Hay Barton being awarded Alastair Sawday’s ‘Most Praised Breakfast Award‘ for 2014. Only the best local produce is used and Jill serves homemade granola, yogurt, marmalade and more. Afternoon tea with freshly baked cake is laid out in the guest sitting room with a log fire and plenty of books and maps to read.

Guests are welcome to use the tennis court and whether they wish to visit Cornwall’s renowned gardens, long sweeping sandy beaches or secluded coastal villages, Hay Barton is perfectly positioned to enjoy the best that Cornwall has to offer.

Covid 19

The letting of our house for self-catering this summer has been wonderfully successful and we are considering doing the same in 2021 ….watch this space!

On August 30th we are returning to traditional B and B and I am already looking forward to the wonderful smell of the granola baking in the Aga!.  We can serve breakfast in three separate rooms and have two sitting rooms with televisions so apart from the actual stairs think the social distancing will easily be possible.  We will keep adhering to the strict cleaning and sanitising protocols and changing pillows with each booking.
